I’m using Fedora 43 Kinoite on my laptop and can’t get the controller to work. If I go into System Settings and click on Game Controller it crashes the settings menu.

My apologies, turns out it’s not supported and when I bought it I did not have my glasses o to read the fine print saying only windows. Read Before You Buy !

Lots of devices say “only supported on Windows”.
I think my XBOX controller is such a device and it works great on Fedora.

That does not mean that the device will not work on a linux system; but requires that someone contributed driver code for the device.

However you do need to check that the device is known to work on linux.
