Is there any research available on whether any existing tools rely on the old names? It would be useful to know how likely it is that we’ll break someone’s existing workflow if we do this.
I’m +1 towards adding the new labels to be more compliant with modern conventions, but I’m less certain about removing the legacy labels. If we do decide to remove the legacy ones, I’m also in favor of eliminating the non-namespaced ones at the same time, so we only need to make this backwards-incompatible change once.
