Hello everybody!
Now that we have kernel 7.0+, we could use more software built for the AMD XDNA kernel driver. These days there are a lot of new things coming up on this front and local AI with AMD is a hot topic.
I know this is for sure just a feature request, but it would be awesome if someone could add to the repos the AMD XDNA user space libs built consistently for F44. I mean the XRT base packages and others that built on it like FastFlowLM.
Please feel free to ignore this if this is not the place for this kind of “hopeful” request.
I’ve seen some COPR repos flying around with setups for these things, but most of them seem to be out of sync (things are developing fast it seems…). Maybe someone from AMD can reach out to help? My hopeful observation is that Fedora is growing steadier than Ubuntu nowadays and it feels like it should be more adopted by these foundational projects.
If it helps, the developers on GitHub - amd/xdna-driver · GitHub seem to be open to PRs and updates that would bring up Fedora there as a supported platform.
Last but not least: thank you all for a great work. Fedora is really making OSS shine.
