I have easyeffects getting killed by the kernel. Someone else seems to have the same problem. I didn’t have this problem before on older Fedora 40 install and older kernel. I’m on 6.12.13.
Just an FYI
There have been at least 3 kernel updates since the 6.12.13 kernel was released (and another is already in testing. This also means there have been many other packages updated in the same time frame, probably more than 500 by now.
Updates often are released to solve problems found and the very first suggestion I, and most others, will give is to update the system so we all are working on the same software versions. If you are running older software we cannot really provide a solution since we have no way to know what may or may not have been changed with updates that might be related to your problem.
Update your system and how you install ‘easyeffects’ If you don’t know you have in fedora repos
