F40 Silverblue - bluetooth audio not working as it was in F39

My built-in audio is back to work, after having stopped working following F39 > F40 upgrade (I followed @fpauser solution).

But after that (or after F40 update, I’m not sure) I notice my JBL bluetooth headset is not anymore working fine when I enter Discord voice channels.

In other applications it works fine, but as soon as I entered voice channel on Discord, it starts to act as if it is repeatedly unpairing/pairing. Then, even if I leave Discord, the sound configuration doesn’t go back to high quality A2DP (see “1” below), unless I switch my headset off/on again.

I’ve tried another bluetooth headset I have (also JBL) and the same happens.

I’ve been running into the same issue on F40 with the 6.8.7-300 kernel using Galaxy Buds Pro.

Came here because having same issue with Pixel Buds-A. In Discord and bluetooth audio input is selected, repeated disconnect/reconnect. I also see an icon flicker being added/removed in the top right.

removal of ~/.local/state/wireplumber did not resolve the issue.
