F40: Audio comes out of the Laptop's speaker and the headphones when the headphones are connected to the audio jack

Hello,
So, I just recently switched my OS from Windows to Fedora. I like it so far. But I have been having some issues with my Audio.

When I connect my wired earbuds/headphones to the audio jack of my laptop, DELL latitude 7440, the audio is playing, both on my earbuds and the laptop’s speakers.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue? I’ve been trying everything, I can’t figure it out

Can you try regenerating WirePlumber config?

rm -rf ~/.local/state/wireplumber/

Then reboot your laptop.

I tried it but it didn’t work, still the same issue.
