Evolution doesn't remember email account password

After having problems with my system, an install of Fedora Workstation from long ago with on line system upgrades thru F43, I decided to reload the system with Fedora 43 KDE spin. I did this by doing a complete load with the Fedora install settings. This only affected my /, /boot, and /boot/EFI filesystems. I remounted my /home and other filesystems I use after install completed.

The KDE spin doesn’t provide evolution which is the email client I use so I installed evolution using dnf. It works but each time it tries to retrieve email it ask that I provide the email account password. A real bother.

How can I get evolution to remember the account password?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Edward

I would expect that it would need gnome-keyring for that. I don’t know how easy it would be to make that work in a KDE environment.

Supposedly, keepassxc can be set up to be a plugin replacement for gnome-keyring.
