Is this from the output of dnf system-upgrade download?
Or did it occur after rebooting to start actual systemupgrade from F43-> F44?

Whilst downloading F44, before reboot used the graphic software install (packagekitd?)

kdnssd-avahi has been orphaned and does not exist within Fedora 44.

You will need remove that package and whatever depends on it in order to upgrade to F44.
Run the following and see what packages will be removed
sudo dnf remove --assumeno kdnssd-avahi
