Error Log ucsi_acpi USBC000:00: PPM init failed (-110)

about log file that has an error.

My platform is a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 AMD version

maybe someone knows a solution for this, especially since it seems to be due to the USB/HDMI peculiarities.

many greetings

Is your firmware for hardware up to date?
Looks like kernel 5.14 not recognizes your usbC yet.

Yes, the bios is up to date and the USB TypeC ports work without problems.
I have found more info on the net with this error and it might have something to do with the HDMI control which is controlled via USB/C…

Currently I have just connected my Gigaset GS290 via USB/C and transfer the data without problems.

Many greetings

I have found the error.
i had to set the option HDMI with audio support to disabled in the BIOS.
The question is if I could ignore the error and the function of a Usb/c to HDMI would still be given including the audio function?
Addendum: It’s back, only it comes after some time…

many greetings
