Hi beautiful people,
How should I in resolving the issue of failure of disk decryption, which I have been experiencing for years with Fedora?
Tried simple passwords for tests and reinstalling the OS on different machines but the issue was persistent.

What do you mean by failure?
You are using LUKS 2 full disk encryption?
The passphrase does not unlock the disk?

I am running FDE since Fedora 18, and my experience does not match yours. Please provide more details.

Yes, I used LUKS 2 FDE and when I used a longer password (12+ characters) it would fail.
The passhphrase would not unlock the disk. Even using passwords like 1 would produce the same result over time. I can’t recreate the issue, at the moment as I am busy with work.

There is no limitation for passphrase length and my password is definitely longer than 12 char.
Something else must be wrong in your case.
