Emailed posts having links and spacing stripped

Hi, I like to post summaries of the Fedora Design Team live sessions when they are posted every other week. I post them to the team list and have been posting them manually to the topic here on Discourse. I’d like to just post to both at once, so I attempted it today and this is what I got:

The link to the video is stripped (kind of the most important bit) and the spacing/layout of the text has also been removed.

Any ideas on what I did wrong?

I’ll take a look. I think Discourse assumes markdown-like formatting for text, which might be part of what is going on.
