I will not be upstreaming this driver in its current state. It is not yet stable enough for the mainline kernel; specifically, resolution switching can trigger kernel panics.
​Furthermore, a superior official driver exists, but Yuan High Tech is currently in violation of the GPLv2 by refusing to release the source code. I am preparing to contact the Software Freedom Conservancy (SFC) to address this compliance issue. Until the source is liberated or this version is stabilized, an upstream pull request is not feasible.
