Hi Jeff,
well I tried the image 45 and found out if there is a other OS installed on the hdd you can not install fedora 45,44
and so on. I had the peoblem on SSD HDD and on seaggte Sata HDD.
So always when want to try the fedora distir I need clean HDD?
Used MS tools to remove the pations and format than its working fine He. It more easy than use the spezail tools you offer.
For video play back I found out I need to install Handbrake after that you can use the dragon player, Videos and VLC.
Strange is if use the orignal DVD I can out encrytion whats up now. The issue is still pending with mpeg movie?
I would say officail use Handrake to convert to MPeg4 at leat you get something to see.

Not true
You do need unallocated space for the installation if you intend to dual boot with another OS, but there is also the option in the installer to wipe out any existing installation and use the entire disk.
Again, not true. The installer will remove the existing installation, and also allows you to select existing partitions to be used for installation if you wish to do it manually
You right zou need disk space I used a 65 GB disk and 250 GB disk only the installation.
How much space is needed for the installation?
Or how much memory is need for good dvd playback I add it try again.

Hi Jeff,
I used the hole HDD size and will test SSD as well on all ditries. I think on the 250 GB you there is enough space available right the smal one is very tied. I have the installation still ready 150 GB. It´s still working if i use a new verion of DVD Movie again the same problem. May be today I find some time to continue the testing.
I used the lasted verion of Handbrake 2. Something .

sure I cxontinue may be tomorrow I have new input for you. The DVD player Videos is instable after some hours testing I found chrashes and chnage the for mat from 16:9 4:3.
Well after standby the system change resolution from 1024*786 to lowest resoltuion.

That statement is complete rubbish, the DVD-Video is defined by the DVD Forum’s DVD-Video book (Book B) it was set 30 years ago and doesn’t change.
DVD-Video is fixed at MPEG-2 video (MPEG-1 allowed) with AC-3, DTS, LPCM or MPEG-2 audio, so a “newer coding” can’t exist on a compliant disc.

To be honest who is your cstomer? I think they used DVD on demand ?
And MS can handel it you don´t no problem so impress me and release a new image !

FTR linux can handle many more codecs than m$, people forget fedora can’t ship them and require ffmpeg from rpmfusion for full codec support.
Well for my computer I use at the monet MS OS lateset version form the internet.
For DVD playback I use Any DVD from the store. I cna playback all my dvd´s sometimes I have a problem that dvd take longer time to load or stopp thats all.
The gegon I use is Netherland and Germany england Country code you know better than me .
I used the display port and the VGA the both of them working cool he.
My I try syberlink dvd player what do you ? I thnik no trouble found.
So the DVD I have are orignal DVD´s.
Or for expamle Intervideo dvd Player.
With MS I also can use video on demand how abozt you?
So what is the advantge of your OS I can not see it?
So create aa new image and close all open issue I reported may be some of my friends use your OS.
