"Dummy Output" on HP Chromebook 11 G5

I have just install Fedora 32 Workstation on my HP Chromebook 11 G5, and noticed that the audio doesn’t work and the system reports the output as a “Dummy Output”. I tried to follow the audio fix help guide provied by Fedora, but I couldn’t find the parameters by seraching “8086:7270 alsa”. If someone could help me, that would be great.

that’s not what your ALSA-Info say you have as device, I see: 8086:2284 You had searched the subsystem, rather than the sound card itself… I believe.

The following links for others OS is what I found:

asound.state file link: asound.state - Pastebin.com

Frankly a bit over my head…

I got this “Dummy Output” error two times in the last month. Restarting pulseaudio with pulseaudio -k “fixed” the problem.

In my case it’s not a new installation. Don’t know if this is of any help.
