Any idea, thanks

If only kernel was updated, look through it’s changelog for sound related entries - that might be useful for a bug report.
There are already F36 builds of kernel 6.0 for Kernel 6.0 Test Week, give them a try.

Those are not fedora distributed kernels. Have you tried the latest fedora 36 distributed kernel (5.19.16) to rule out potential problems that may be introduced by packages that are not part of the fedora distro?

You can get everything in sync with the fedora distro by using sudo dnf distro-sync --refresh --allowerasing. This will not remove the currently booted kernel but should make sure everything else is fully synced with the repos.

thanks, I will try it

Take a look at this article, I tested it and worked for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/debian/comments/yd3sxh/no_sound_card_found_after_kernel_6031_update/
