Drop down tag list only includes a few tags. How do I determine whether an appropriate tag exists? If not how to request additional?

You mentioned wanted tags in the body of Your message, You could try to incorporate them in the title. f41 exists so someone with high enough TL (trust level) can re-tag Your post. TL3 is needed.
