Driver for Realtek RTL8852BE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter available in fedora 38?

Hi,

I’ve currently installed fedora 38 on an HP Pavilion (pretty new one) and I was wondering if my wifi chipset Realtek RTL8852BE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter will be supported. Sadly I don’t have have an ethernet connection due to the fact that the laptop does not provide this interface.

If internet provided to the laptop would I be able also to download the updates, therefore having the driver?

Thanks!

Thank you for the answer. But this is sadly not my question.
I was wondering when the linux kernel will support my chipset without 3party (github packages)?
I already checked in the linux kernel for rtw89 files and they are present? Why is my chipset still not working? (also with after an update to kernel version 6.2)

This chip should be supported by the rtw89_8852be driver. Could you post the output of lspci -vnn and dmesg|grep rtw89?
