Download speed very slow

Hello again all,

Would someone be able to point me in the right direction - my Internet download speed is extremely slow on my Fedora 31 machine, I am getting a maximum of 5mbps on speedtest.net and fast.com when I should be getting 250mbps. I am plugged directly into my router with an Ethernet cable.

If I plug the Ethernet cable from my Fedora 31 machine into a Windows 10 machine the speeds are fine 250+mbps down and 40mbps up.

Where can i start looking to troubleshoot this please? Maybe it is the driver the NIC is using or something, I have a Realtek NIC card.

Solved this, was due to speed/duplex on the port. I used the ethtool to set it to auto negotiate.
