GNOME Abrt, from my experience, solely appears to integrate with RHBZ. However, I don’t believe that COPR repositories integrate with RHBZ. Instead, they appear to utilise an issue tracker per-repository, hostted on the Fedora Pagure instance. Does GNOME Abrt provide a bug report wizard for these in its default state?
From a look through the abrt “Preferences” that shows the different reporting outputs, the answer seems to be no. copr can be all over the place, with some in GitHub or their own forge and others just uploading a src rpm. I’m not sure how to incorporate that scenario into a common output for abrt.
A package graduating from copr to the main Fedora repos can then get abrt reporting, though.
@vwbusguy, thanks. For those in copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs
, though, it seems like a missed opportunity. Really, it’d be nice if RHBZ was utilised instead of Pagure for those repositories too, but Fedora wouldn’t be Fedora if its issue tracking wasn’t split across 5 platforms!
Pagure is being phased out in favor of Forgejo, for what it’s worth, so it’s highly unlikely any more integrations will be built for it. Forgejo has an “Issues” with a similar API to GitHub and Gitea, so that’s a possibility if you might be interested in helping to write it?
@vwbusguy, that’s wonderful to hear. I’d hoped it’d be GitLab, but I love Gitea and Forgejo too. Do you know whether that’s being tracked anywhere?
I’d love to. I’ll try my hand if ever I become confident enough, but it’s improbable – my proficiency is more QA and administration than development.
I should have bothered to search a little more:
