Woohoo! This can also be found on Fedora Calendar for anyone who wants to set up their own calendar invite with an iCal export:

Is this a brief presentation on the Fedora Docs Team? Or the Initiative? Just wondering what the scope is for this topic.

Perhaps it would be useful to check in on Forgejo migration? Lately I am finding some things are still on GitLab and some things are still on Forgejo. It might be useful to check in on what has been moved so far, what is planned to move next, and what things could use some help, if any.

A presentation of the task of the Initiative to achieve / establish for Docs

Sorry, missed that line about forgejo in copy&paste from my planning notes.

The plan is to start migration with Release Notes as a pilot project for gitlab migration.

And to create user groups and permissions for the core team members.

Got it. Makes sense. Since the meeting is a text meeting, we can probably make this part very short, since people can read the Wiki page on their own time. I would like to know if meeting attendees have questions or feedback about the Initiative, though.

It would be helpful to know if people have thoughts while the Fedora Council 2026 Strategy Summit agenda is being shaped up.

No problem! It will definitely be a timely topic to discuss before the year-end.

Makes sense. If we can come up with some “help wanted” tasks for the git forge migration, that would be nice to share during the meeting too.

I’m preparing a very short summary of the initiative’s intention on our forge wiki page. So we can have a short break for reading or give notice when we have it ready on Monday, and then can answer questions and/or additional ideas etc.
