Do you upgrade or reinstall?

I have been doing that as well for several years now.

I usually Upgrade, and this release was no exception, ill do a clean install if I feel like a change of desktop environment or just want that shining new fedora smell :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello everyone
I imagine that question about whether to do an upgrade or a new installation is common. It really seems to me that Fedora 41 and 42 have greatly refined the updates. I also checked cockpit after the upgrade from 41 to 42 and everything was perfect without “red flags”. From Fedora 37 / 38 / 39 there has been, in my opinion, a significant increase in stability. A version upgrade in vm and bare metal really seems like a new installation. Even in terms of space occupied by the OS, there doesn’t seem to be any waste

Always upgrading. Occasionally I test newer versions in VM to see if there are any lags or bugs.
