Do I need to add the critical-path-kde to my KDE setup on Fedora Everything?

Is this package important for KDE Plasma to function properly? Also, will my custom setup work well out-of-the-box?

If you have the following packages installed, then no - it’s just a group which collates what are considered to be critical packages to be installed for a KDE user. If you have the following installed, then adding this group will do nothing. Alternatively adding this group package is a handy way to install all the following:

Only some of these packages are installed, should I still add it?

Very much depends on what is already installed, what’s not and what you think you need!

Do you need bluetooth? If so, you probably bluedevil, for example. If you don’t need bluetooth at all, then you probably don’t.

If you don’t yet know what you need, I have to wonder why you’re trying to build a working environment yourself - you’ll never know if you’ve missed something or if you’re looking at a bug.

Saying that, there’s nothing to stop you from building this system to your current specification, seeing what doesn’t work, and what you require and then installing it as you go.
