Do Fedora 44 KDE Plasma include all needed drivers for my laptop ? ONe and a half years old Lenovo Legion AMD Ryzen 7, 24 Gb RAM, Nvidia RTX 4050, Nordic keyboard ? just that don’t end up searching those all around.
It should just work when booting from the live media. If that is no issue, then the only thing that is not already in fedora is the driver for the RTX 4050 gpu.
Just curious why those are not build in that you can choose or not middle of installation ? most of the modern computers have Nvidia RTX built in anyway ? would make many users life way easier.
Very simple reason.
Fedora does not ship directly any software that is encumbered by licensing, copyright, or is proprietary. Nvidia drivers are proprietary. Rpmfusion is able to distribute them but fedora does not.
They come with Linux Mint installation, so it will be easier for me.
