Dnfdragora quits at middle with an error while installing packages in Fedora 42

After installing Fedora 42,while using “dnfdragora” package,it quits in the middle while package installation is under process.

POP UP ERROR MESSAGE SHOWS:—>

Heading:—>“Error in Status DNFDragoraStatus.RUN_TRANSACTION on Run Transaction”

Body Statement:—> “org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply:Did not receive a reply.
Possible causes include:the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired,or the network connection was broken.”

                                                            [ok]

Please help me out of this dire situation.

dnfdragora isn’t worth the effort to fix, it’s totally broken in f42, replace it with gnome-software.

sudo dnf swap dnfdragora gnome-software

gnome-software is not a true replacement for dnfdragore. gnome-software only shows the apps, and not every package in the dnf repositories are apps. For example, you won’t find the gcc compiler in gnome-software as it is not an app.

Besides, neither integrates with dnf5 history and status at the moment.

Correction, as of Fedora 41.

Hi
in fedora 42 maybe dnfdragora at vers. 2.99 I thought it was integrated into dnf5. Was I wrong to think so?

No, you are not.

Won’t there be a FIX for dnfdragora if it is broken???

Thanks @leigh123linux ,but after performing the command and subsequent reboot,I opened dnfdragora…it gets stuck at “Caching Updates” of 33% under “Creating Package Cache”. The functional bar gets stuck at 33%…
