Disk not found after gnome-shell --wayland

I had login loop issue, so some expert suggest me to do gnome-shell --wayland. Then i entered my desktop my sad.. i am not able to see my disk- sd4 and sda5.
Please help

Run lsblk from the command line.

What disks does that say are there?

You just upgraded from F43 Workstation to F44 Workstation too, right?

Ya i just upgraded from fedora 43 to 44.

I can see your sda4 and sda5 there.

And they are mounted.

Where is it that you cannot see them from?

File manger

They’re mounted to some other user’s rundir though, which is a bit odd…

In the address bar up the top, you can go to the disks by entering their mount points,
eg /run/media/testuser/saifee

Did you log in as “testuser” to fix your upgrade issues?

If so, I’d suggest rebooting and logging in with only your normal user account.

Ya chatgpt told me to do testuser

@saifee what log in name did you use at the TTY?

Ok let me reboot

Saifee my primary account

Wowww i am happy thank you.. you pro expert guys..
I just remove the testuser and then entered my desktop through tty- gnome-shell --wayland.
Now its showing my disks.

Please fix the lockscreen issue.
For some days let me use gnome shell command to login my desktop.

Thank you guys.
Now let me enjoy the new fedora 44.

One more issue the night light is not working. Fix this too

Once you login with your login manager, it should work again.

Believe me guys i am running fedora 44 on my 15ys old hp laptop… And it runs superb.

Thank you.

Ok thanks

Can you create a separate thread for this, as it’s a separate issue. Please try to provide some details (like how did it behave on F43, and how does it behave on F44).

Please also remember that this is a user-to-user help forum. If you issue demands to other users to “fix this”, it’s counterproductive.

Roger sir…I am new to this community.
I will follow the rule.
