GNU Emacs - development master branch with standard Fedora configuration and patches.
This COPR repository provides all the Emacs packages that Fedora normally provides, but compiled from the master development branch rather than a point release.
This COPR repository is based on https://github.com/Wojtek242/copr-emacs-git which is a fork of https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/emacs.
Installation Instructions
This repo can be used to install Emacs or to transparently upgrade from the Fedora-provided version of Emacs.
WARNING: If you want to remove this repository, first downgrade emacs-filesystem using dnf downgrade. For some reason there are non-Emacs packages that depend on it.
To enable the repository
sudo dnf copr enable robot/emacs-git
To install Emacs
sudo dnf install emacs
To upgrade the Fedora-provided Emacs package
sudo dnf upgrade emacs
