Dev-mapper-fedora\x2dhome.device/start hangs

I try to boot my Fedora 41, but it hangs on
dev-mapper-fedora\x2dhome.device/start

I’m using luks and lvm. I guess that for some reason the lvm volumes are not found or mounted, but why? Previously all worked, but things went wrong after adding an NVMe drive and making some changes with blivet-gui.

When I boot the system from a live USB stick, I can activate the LVM partitions without problems. What could cause the issue that my system does not boot any more?

Do you have some suggestions for debugging this issue?

What did you do in blivet-gui?
Does the system boot if you remove the new nvme drive?
In live env can you mount all the partitions /, /boot etc?

I did not try to remove the nvme yet. Also I do not know any more what I exactly did in blivet-gui.

In the end, I solved this issue by removing the /etc/lvm/devices/system.devices. See also: How to recover LVM volume group and logical volumes - #3 by janvlug
