Dell XPS fingerprint reader on Fedora?

I have a Dell XPS laptop with a fingerprint reader. I’d like to be able to use it to log in on Fedora but I find no way to do it. There seems to be no driver supporting this hardware on Fedora. I’ve found some builds for Ubuntu but my attempts to port them to Fedora fails.

meteor@fedora:~$ lsusb | grep -i fingerprint
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 27c6:533c Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. FingerPrint

Anyone has a working solution or ideas?

Thanks! I think in the end I got it working by reading allt he comments there and following steps in a few different ones.
