My Dell Precision 3490 will not wake from sleep. Entering sleep by any method causes the laptop to appear completely powered off: the screen remains off, there is no backlight, and the power button LED is inactive. Pressing keys on the keyboard or pressing the power button does not wake the laptop. The only way to restore it is to perform a hard reset by holding the power button until the system shuts down and then powering it back on.
