Dell Latitude 7440 Laptop Camera

I have a Dell Latitude 7440 laptop with Fedora 43 installed. I can not get the camera to function properly or at all most apps. I have verified the IPU6 drivers are installed. I followed a this Guide Fedora IPU6 camera support now available in rpmfusion-nonfree: hansdegoede — LiveJournal and did get the camera working but the image was upside down. But when I had a system update I lost the camera all over again and the Guide I used doesn’t work. Does anyone know of a fix for this laptops camera? I’ve gone through Google and read every doc I can find but it still doesn’t work. I’m pretty new Linux and would love to use it more if only I can get this issue fixed.

did you ever find a fix for this?

Nope still doesn’t work.

are you trying to use kamoso? i have found that in that app and obs there was a lone other camera next to all the multiples that seems to work. havent found a way to get it working in websites that used the cam in firefox.

in obs its under the pipewire video capture source:

I don’t what Kamoso is? When I use Discord or Cheese there is no camera for me to select.

kamoso is the builtin webcam software on kde plasma. just now realized you probably werent running plasma. discord is only giving me the one camera
