Delete Picture File History on Wiki Profile

Hi! I’ve uploaded too many images as profile pictures for my Fedora Wiki. How can I delete them?

Could you share a URL? I thought one could go to the page of the image and delete it from there.

https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Image_administration

If that doesn’t work, you may have to ask the infra team to do it for you by filing a ticket with them:

It seams to be a one way this picture uploads. I tested it. No chance to delete it …

I made a new issue on infra:

Issue #12224: Wiki picture uploads, is there a way to delete pictures if the 2mb are reached? - fedora-infrastructure - Pagure.io

Here’s the URL:

I’ll ask the Infra team too.

Thanks.

I think deletion is limited to the infra team to prevent malicious actors from removing them and so on.

For users who want to delete pages just redirect like described here:

Help:Redirect - Fedora Project Wiki

This way we do have a maintenance-free process.
