I think this is a pretty good start/draft though I’d like to ask for clarification on something as it could be that my brain may be misunderstanding.

In section 5, the policy states:-

5. Any individual involved in a decision-making group who believes they may have a conflict of interest related to a specific discussion, vote, or task is expected to:
   …
   Recuse themselves from the decision process

However, section 4 also states:

@amoloney

4. Not Automatically Disqualifying: The mere existence of a conflict of interest is not assumed to be disqualifying from participation in a decision.
