I want to control external monitor brightness using gnome shell slider and keyboard fn buttons. I’ve installed dccutil, dkms and setup this. After execute sudo modprobe ddcci and logout, it works perfect. But also i need to autoload this module at boot. I added 2 files under /etc/modules-load.d: ddcci.conf and ddcci_backlight.conf and added the name of the modules there (ddcci and ddcci_backlight). After boot lsmod | grep ddcci tells, that both modules loaded, but there is no any controls of brightness. Any opinions?
