I am unable to copy paste using Cockpit in Firefox, Librewolf or Floorp. Waterfox is the only browser that this functionality seems to work. I have tried changing dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled in all the above browsers and it did change the behavior until the most recent update for them all. Control-c and Control-v also do not work as expected. Thanks for any help.

Hi and welcome to ![]()
Which desktop environment are you using?
How are the browsers installed? (rpm, flatpak, etc ..)
Thanks
On whst OS and browser are to connecting to cockpit?
What version of Fedora is cockpit running?
Are all system up to date?
On which cockpit page are you trying copy info from?
On which cockpit page are you trying to paste into?
Please provide enough details for someone to reproduce the issue.
Both computers are using Fedora 43 KDE desktop, systems are up to date. I am using the file manager page in Cockpit and Firefox from Fedora repos. Waterfox and Floorp are from flatpak Fedora repo. Copy and pasting on my server in cockpit, so moving files on the one machine from using my desktop machines. Both my laptop and desktop exhibit this behavior in Windows as well as Fedora (dual boot machines). Server is Fedora 43. Also it does not matter if I am in admin mode or not.
I would like to add that librewolf is behaving the same way also, from flatpak repo.
This works for me in Cockpit Terminal:
- Copy: Ctrl+Insert
- Paste: Shift+Insert
I tested Chromium RPM in F43 GNOME.
I am not using chromium, also it effects mostly mozilla based browsers.
As an aside this is working correctly in Chromium for me in cockpit
I changed LibreWolf dom.event.clipboardevents.enebled from true to false and back to true and it seems to work now in LibreWolf but doing this in Firefox still no luck.
Ok I changed browser.contentanalysis.interception_point.clipboard.plain_text_only to false in Firefox about:config and copy paste is now working in Cockpit.
