Hello everyone, with my laptop I used to have problems with my bluetooth headphones witch I think I fixed by running :
sudo dnf up wireplumber\* --refresh
But when I plug in my earphones that have hifi sound (not sure it matters) there is a constent background hushing sound, I was recommended to try switching from HSP/HFP to A2DP(High quality), but even that I don’t know how to do it…
I was the one who recommended and i will take my words back, there is no A2DP or HFP when you are connected through wire, it only exist for wireless bluetooth earphones. So the problem must be something else.
Sorry
Is the plug fully inserted? If these earbuds also have a microphone (headset), then the pin configuration might be incompatible. There used to be two competing pinout standards for the TRRS plug. The MIC and GROUND pins were swapped.
It would be best to try using regular headphones that only have a TRS plug.
you could try installing easy effects and using it to EQ the earphones to clean up the audio. I had to do this with my sound bar and bass module to clean it up a bit when using HIFI
Im not a professional or anything by any means but basically what i did/do is go to the effect tab and played around tweaking the gain and a few other minor things until i got to sound i wanted then just sort of left it alone its also really nice if your watching something in multiple tabs because you can adjust the sound level of each individual audio stream. Its really handy to have for random little audio things. Like adjusting your headset mic
