Conflicts after new update of nvidia-580xx was released

Hi. I’ve Nvidia GP107GL [Quadro P1000] video card which is supported by the previous series of the proprietary Nvidia drivers of upstream version nvidia-580xx. It works fine but today’s update refuses to install because of some conflicts:

Is it a known issue and when it’s going to be fixed?

P.S. I’ve also kernel-7.0.14-200.fc44 installed from the testing repo. Don’t think this is related, but this version was obsolete about a hour ago by a not yet released kernel-7.0.14-201.fc44 (currently pending before reaching testing repo).

Seems like nvidia-settings-580xx was forgotten to be updated together with other 580xx which were updated from 580.159.04 to 580.167.08.

Does RPM Fusion have a web site like Fedora’s Bodhi where I can check such things, try updates from testing repo and report testing results?

that makes no difference, because akmod-nvidia-580xx will pull in the other updates.

no bodh but koji is available and you can always do a repoquery in rpm*testing

The added package name you inserted.
Since all the packages need to be matched for version, when you upgrade the akmod-nvidia-580xx package it will automatically require that the cuda package be upgraded to match.

During installation the cuda package must be installed separately, but when upgrading versions everything is done in sync.

In fact all the packages for nvidia 580xx drivers, version 580.173.02 are in the rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing repo right now.

You could run sudo dnf up akmod-nvidia-580xx --enable-repo rpm*testing --refresh as noted above and have all the latest drivers updated.

Without that package both cuda packages were not included into the upgrade.

I already finished this upgrade and it works properly.
