Running the remove duplicates gave me the option to use “–allowerasing” instead of spouting errors, thats a good step, its seeming to actually do things now.

Threw that in the end for an annoying relapse, lets hope the update works (So I can reinstall steam I’ve been so scared to close anything I think its running in RAM right now)

You might want to remove libseccomp.i686

Did you update before installing steam?
The x86_64 packages still look like the older versions?

I was afraid to restart my PC without steam installed, I’ll give that a shot

already started doing that, it’s working well. Steam has finally reinstalled, thank you so much, kind stranger, for helping me to fix all this.
