Compose Key working in Konsole, Chrome, LibreWrite, but not KWrite

Any suggestions?

It’s mostly annoying because KWrite is the quickest thing I have to quickly close and reopen without it interfering with other work, or wanting to save files etc (because I don’t generally use it).

Based on web search, I changed compose over to CapsLock, no change.

In case you enable IBus and have your compose file, your compose file should include the line of ‘include “%L”’.
