Problem Installs of Fedora 42 and later to Intel-based Macs no longer use specialized customizations provided by the mactel-boot package. This means: The existing FAT32 EFI System partition is now used, instead of a new partition formatted HFS+ and dedicated for Fedora. The user now sees an EFI Boot volume in the firmware built-in boot manager, instead of a Fedora volume. The user no longer sees a Fedora volume in the macOS Startup Disk panel.
