Youtube, Twitch, Patreon videos doesnt work after upgrade to F41.
The video stops after the first 3 seconds although I contiune hearing the audio.
After that the video jumps or repeats short fragments from time to time… with no audio synchronization
The problem is the same with Firefox and Chrome (chrome a little bit better, but still clunchy and unsynchronized audio/video).
Playing MP4 local videos with ffplay works perfectly.
I reinstalled codecs, Intel multimedia, as for Howto/Multimedia - RPM Fusion
… with no effect
Kernel 6.12.7-200.fc41.x86_64 doesn’t work
Kernel 6.11.5-200.fc40.x86_64 a little bit better but doesn’t work at all
10 Jan 25 : Tested with latest updates including kernel 6.12.8 with no success
11 Jan 25 : That’s blowing my mind… I’ve discovered that connecting a headset, USB or BlueTooth everything works correctly. When I change audio to speakers, the video hungs in 3 seconds. That’s crazy !!
13 Jan 25: I FOUND A SOLUTION Replacing wireplumber by pipewire-session-manager
sudo dnf install pipewire-session-manager --allowerasing
This will erase wireplumber in the process.
