Hi,
I just switched to Fedora 42 KDE, trying to get rid of Windows. One critical point is that I must be able to run Citrix Workspace as I WFH half of the week. Unfortunately it does not work as expected:
-
I’ve install it as indicated:
sudo dnf install ICAClient-rhel-25.03.0.66-0.x86_64.rpm
sudo dnf install ctxusb-25.03.0.66-1.x86_64.rpm -
Integration with the browser (Firefox or Brave, same behaviour) is not ok: once logged on my company website I click on the “app” (ica file to open) but there nothing happened. No error displayed. I cannot figure out what is the issue. Note that I have no such issue on a Lubuntu 24.10 with the same Citrix version.
-
If I start directly Citrix Workspace (we never does that but I wanted to bypass the pb of starting Citrix with the ica file) and fill the info (server address, password…), I finally managed to connect and start the Citrix app (a remote connection to a VDI Windows) but the fractional scaling (150%) is ignored (despite having selected the HiDPI option) and the display is far too small to be usable for me.
Maybe the issue is on the Citrix Workspace software but if someone managed to use it on Fedora 42 KDE I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance!
