Checksum file wrong for the F42 respins

I am not sure where to report this, but for every respin iso file located at Index of /pub/alt/live-respins the name of the file in the CHECKSUM file is invalid.

The files available to be downloaded are as shown here, and do not match the names in the checksum file.

The checksums also are now sha512sum values which is reflected in the name of the checksum file.

Hi, what’s the response from respin SIG if I may ask?

Also, what about F43 respins, are their checksum files ok?

For the file I used (The workstation respin) the checksum was OK.

None of the file names in the checksum file match the names displayed on the listing on the download site.

When I edited the checksum file and inserted on the appropriate line the name of the actual file that was downloaded then the check passed.

I have not contacted the respin SIG

The file names are now all Fedora 43 related and the CHECKSUM file has the proper Fedora 43 matching names. The OP was posting about the old Oct 15 files, the new files are Nov 14th:

thanks for your report, human errors occur and one one else has seen this over the month that the F42 respins had been out there, they have been removed and we are doing F43 now

in F42 kiwi was the new way to produce the upadated isos, kiwi has a totallly different naming convention than our standard naming for the isos, thus now the names are manually changed and human error occured by not updating the checksum file after the name change
