New KDE came out today,
got excited to try out the new drawing tablet settings, but they’re not anywhere in the system settings. i tried searching for it too, but it didn’t show up.
The option’s just not there.
I can use open tablet driver, but it’s janky, and the default driver in the kernel works better so i was disappointed to not see the promised new feature.
Pressure sensitivity works in krita, so i know that the tablet’s being recognised, but i’d love to be able to set my tablet’s buttons up with the new KDE setting.
Any ideas what’s going on?
It’s a Huion Inspiroy H640P, getting a bit old now, but it works. it’s a shame that huion only makes drivers for GNOME, can’t seem to get their official drivers working in KDE.
What did you do to install 6.3? As far as I know it has only just started being tested and is not released for Fedora yet. Usually it take a week or two to pass testing.
Should i report this as a bug through the proper channels?
the guys over at the KDE help forum seem to think this is a fedora KDE packaging issue. and I’m a little reluctant to distro hop, i was just getting used to fedora…i kinda like it…
