i have a asus f15 gaming laptop everything was working normally and i left my laptop on for quite a bit when i went to sleep woke up and used it for around 15 minutes got a kernal crash and it would just be stuck on the boot screen and now i only get boot screens for the gui i tried all the kernals and it still would not work also cant open access the root account is locked for some reason
If you have a Live USB installer you can a) use journalctl —no-hostname —directory … after mounting the system drive, and b) enable root as described in https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/root-account-locked/. You may want to create an installer USB using a .iso from https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/live-respins/.
