I can flash with a usb adapter, but not with a sd card adapter. I’m using fedora 33 with gnome.

Can you give us more details? You say USB adapter works … like a flash drive?
What kind of sd card adapter is it? Whit which application do you write the iso to the sd card? Both with “Fedora Media Writer?”
