hello, it has been happening since fedora 40 but it’s still present in 41
If i open a folder in the application grid, 95% of times i can’t exit the folder, and the only way to is to actually open an app, while in earlier versions i could just clic outside the folder to return to the grid
any suggestion to make it work?

Looks like extensions have nothing to do with the issue.
Darn. I reproduced the issue and now I cannot close the folder as well 
opening an app from inside an app folder → after closing that app the issue happens for that app folder
This happens to me sometimes as well, but hitting the escape key always gets me out of the folder, without having to open an app.
Yeah. If you want to use the mouse, you can also click on the top bar. It’s annoying, but until the issue isn’t solved you can close the folder in these ways.
