Can't access alternate bluetooth interface if one of them is disabled in Plasma Settings

I have multiple bluetooth interfaces because the one built into my motherboard does not work properly, however if I disable the one that does not work, the kde plasma settings page for bluetooth does not allow me to use the other working interface that I have connected. I can use the alternate interface fine through bluetoothctl in the commandline, however I would much prefer to have a GUI to do it in day to day use.

Is there a way to fix it, or is there a better program to use other than plasma settings to manage bluetooth? Thanks.
