Cannot Get Out of Gnome Welcome Setup Screen - Both on Silverblue and Workstation

While have been using KDE for a while, wanted to give a shot to Gnome once again; but, have realized that I cannot complete the Gnome Setup experience, when I complete the prompts, it gets stuck on a blank desktop, without logging out nor giving any feedback. The desktop shell remains loaded; but, due to the restrictions put by gnome, cannot access a proper terminal session nor open any apps to troubleshoot.

I have tried this on both silverblue and workstation, on both bare metal and on a vm through gnome boxes, the outcome is somehow the same, which makes me as whether anyone else is facing the same issue.

It is difficult to give you some advice with this kind of information about your setup.

There are users with difficulties, this we see everyday while they make requests for help here.
However to get an overview of your problem we do need more information.

Please give us more information like:

As a general workaround you could try the re-spin ISO for the Workstation, it comes with a different, newer kernel as when we released F44: Re-spin F44 Workstation

Again, I cannot do much troubleshooting nor run any commands within the broken environment since it does not even let me access to a terminal, the best thing I can probably offer is my system specs from KDE settings:

Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.28.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.1.4-200.fc44.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 8 Ă— AMD Ryzen 5 7520U with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 8 GiB of RAM (7.0 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon 610M
Manufacturer: HP
Product Name: HP Laptop 15-fc0xxx

I could try inxi on my host system as well; but, since I am using Kinoite and the fact the problem is happening on a VM, I do not think that it would be much help.

There have been issues with timezone selection in the past. Can you try again using a UTC or Europe/Paris timezone for example?

Please read https://help.gnome.org/gnome-boxes/prop-trouble.html.

I found that Boxes hides useful capabilities, so switched to:

virt-manager (1) - Graphical tool for managing libvirt VMs
