Cannot convert string to type FontStruct

We updated our Fedora-41 development system 10/28 and ran our validation suite over night. It generated these warnings:

Warning: Cannot convert string "\*-times-bold-r-normal--\*-140-75-75-p-\*iso8859\*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string "\*-times-bold-r-normal--\*-120-75-75-p-\*iso8859\*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string "\*-times-medium-r-normal--\*-100-75-75-p-\*iso8859\*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string "\*-helvetica-bold-r-normal--\*-140-75-75-p-\*iso8859\*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string "\*-helvetica-bold-r-normal--\*-120-75-75-p-\*iso8859\*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string "\*-helvetica-medium-r-normal--\*-100-75-75-p-\*iso8859\*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string "\*-helvetica-bold-r-normal--\*-100-75-75-p-\*iso8859\*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string "\*-times-bold-r-normal--\*-100-75-75-p-\*iso8859\*" to type FontStruct

The prior update of 10/23 did not cause these warnings to be generated by our validation suite. This will prevent us from taking Fedora-41 into production.

Just so you are aware.
F43 was released this week.
That means F41 will become EOL at the end of November. It probably would be a good idea to upgrade to at least F42 (which will be supported for another 6-7 months) or possibly F43 (which will have about 13 months support).
