I cannot change the blank screen timeout after upgrading from F40 to F41. The screen goes blank after the 30s of inactivity regardless of the set value in Settings->Power menu. I have AMD RX 5700XT GPU. I didn’t see anything in the system log when the screen went blank. Also, I have tried switching power profiles, both via setting and via tuned-adm, but without change.
Do you have some pointers on what is causing this very annoying behaviour or how to diagnose it? Thanks
I remember reading somewhere (in case I am not wrong), that while tuned replaced power-profiles-daemon in F41, by upgrading from F40 to F41 the switch doesn’t happen automatically.
I don’t have installed power-profiles-daemon and tuned-ppd.service is running. So I guess that switch was successful?
Maybe install ppd and try it instead of tuned?
Can you double check:

After the problem occurs can you post or check journalctl --no-pager --no-host --since=-5m

It fixed itself. I guess by some update, but I’m not sure preciselly when.
I’m having the same problem since upgrading to F41. Differently than OP though I’m on an NVidia GPU.

It’s quite disruptive, as the screen goes off while I’m reading code, emails, etc…
Any suggestions?
